Verhalen van Pierson: Den Bosch

Stories of Pierson: Den Bosch is an educational mobile app that transforms city exploration into an interactive learning experience. Students compete in teams while following routes through the city, completing challenges at different locations — quizzes, AI-evaluated photo assignments, and music-related tasks. The app gamifies outdoor education by combining location-based learning with a competitive element.

It now lives as a pnpm and Turborepo monorepo: an Expo SDK 54 React Native client, a Next.js 16 App Router dashboard for teachers, and a shared Convex backend that both apps consume as a workspace package. Authentication runs on better-auth, and the native interface is built with HeroUI Native and Uniwind.
